Why Do I Want What I Want?

The universe has given ALL of us specific wants so that we could each fulfill them and round out the natural order of the universe.

Just think if some of our most influential thought leaders and talents never pursued what was in their heart. We could be Oprah-less, Jimmy Page-less, John Muir-less… and our world would be w e i r d and not in a good way.

Following our yellow brick roads of desire won’t lead everyone to a top spot at the head of the world, but sure as hell will bring a lot of joy to the planet. And that kind of joy radiates. It ripples to the next person who isn’t sure if they should risk it all to do what they’ve always dreamed of.

We need more mortal examples of this.

Be one of them.

If we ignore a deep desire, we are essentially putting a hand up to the Divine as if to say, “I do not accept the assignment”. And that’s ok, because the desire will be planted in someone else who wants it. If they don’t carry it out… onto the next one. And the next one until it finds a forever home. But why not let it be you?

We all want what Source wants us to want. Ya feel me? Accept the assignment. Restore the balance of joy in the universe.
